The Pump, and intuitive eating
This is a blog about milestones, right? This weekend I intuitively ate for the first time in maybe 2 years. Had a morning of lifting heavy, then disappeared into the city for a day of festivities and fooding. It was marvelous. I had my first beignet, split food with people, saved food for later….things normal people probably do. This was a big step for me, and probably made more exciting by the fact that I lost weight the next morning, despite all of the delicious morsels. Currently I am in a holding pattern of 2000 calories a day roughly, alternating high and low carb. My body has seemed to stay the same composition…but for the first time yesterday, after a bath, I had veins popping out of one of my biceps. It was gross, but thats a milestone, right?
